The public is invited to a Summer Music Fest on June 29 at American Legion Post 120, located at 320 N. Union St., Lambertville, N.J.

May is when the fallen are remembered, freedom is celebrated and pride is on display. Two parades take place on Lambertville’s North Union Street this month, in recognition of seemingly disparate but ultimately unified groups.

Known for its historic architecture, shops, art galleries and restaurants, Lambertville has a tourist’s good time at the ready. But if those attractions are the cover of the book, the community’s goodwill and creativity are the pages inside.

Residents on both sides of the Delaware River came together on Nov. 11 to honor generations of men and women who raised their hand in service to the nation.
