York Street Hustle set to perform in Newtown

Posted

The historic Newtown Theatre will groove to the sounds of Motown at 8 p.m. Saturday, April 9, when it welcomes back York Street Hustle, a 10-piece, 1960s soul ensemble.
In a few short years, York Street Hustle has gone from filling tiny South Street bars to repeated sell-outs of WXPN’s World Cafe Live. The group’s repertoire spans well over 70 songs, including more than a decade worth of Detroit, Memphis and Chicago soul. This will be the band’s third appearance at the Newtown Theatre.

Tickets are available on the theater website. Any remaining tickets will be sold for an additional fee at the door on the night of the show, if available. All seating is general admission.
Beer, wine, and canned cocktails will be available for purchase at the theater before the show and during intermission. The theater is located at 120 N. State St. in Newtown Borough. Visit online for information.
