The Yardley-Makefield Consolidated Emergency Unit is outfitting a new 2019 Ford T-350 AEV Type ll Ambulance thanks to a low-interest loan recently awarded by Pennsylvania.
The $59,075 vehicle was financed by the state Office of the Fire Commissioner following YMCEU’s successful application to the statewide program.
Rep. Perry Warren (D-Bucks) and state Sen. Steve Santarsiero (D-Bucks) advocated for the OFC financing, and purchasing the new ambulance was a solution sought by the first responders at YMCEU and the citizens it protects.
