St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church in Yardley will have its annual Martin Luther King, Jr. Day of Service on Monday, Jan. 21.
Events will be held in the parish house from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m., with lunch provided between 11:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m.
The church’s outreach committee planning this event will be collecting five specific baby items for the Bucks County Housing Group’s Robert Morris Apartments and others in need of permanent housing. Those items are diapers, wipes, baby shampoo, baby wash and baby lotion.
It also is collecting art supplies to make Valentines’ cards for parishioners who cannot make it to church, and a local retirement community.
The committee will also show how people can participate in upcoming volunteer opportunities at St. Andrews and what people can do to address the current issue of gun safety.
