Students in Amanda Schopfer’s 3s Extended Day Program invited their moms to Woodside Christian Preschool in Yardley for a Muffins with Mom tea to celebrate Mother’s Day.
As moms arrived, their child greeted them with a hug and walked them into their classroom, which was decorated with flowers and handmade gifts from the children.
Bennett Steinberger from Yardley has been looking forward to this event all week. He was happy to offer some treats to mom, and tell his mom that he loves getting hugs from her. Bennett’s mom, Carolyn, said “I love that he served me today at this tea. That was really nice.”
The event ended with a special song the children sang to their moms.
