Most Americans are brainwashed into believing we have a democracy. My dad taught me at a very young age the following: The caveman with the biggest club had the power, then came the pharaoh and his slaves, then came the landlords and the serfs, then came the master and the slave and now the employer and the employee.
Let’s not forget the most important reason for a failed democracy — a totally corrupt political system that’s called capitalism.
So long as we have corporations with boards of directors, maybe 20 people, making the decisions that affect sometimes millions of workers — what to produce, how to produce, where to produce, and what to do with the profits that we all produce — that’s not a democracy.
When we have one-man/woman-one-vote each, then you can call it a democracy. Would we then see workers voting to move their jobs to China?
And this list of so-called representatives? They’re using “democracy” as a tool to justify the ills of the world.
