West Hall of Fame inducts 2019 class

The 20th annual recognition of former athletes from Central Bucks High School and Central Bucks High School West Hall of Fame (HOF) took place this fall.

Six athletes, a championship baseball team and a dedicated community member were presented during halftime at one of the school’s scheduled football games. At a banquet at the Doylestown Country Club, over a hundred family, friends and supporters gathered to witness the induction of the honorees into the Hall of Fame.

Each HOF inductee expressed their appreciation for the honor, touching on the role of athletics in their lives and the support they received from family, friends and teammates. A standing ovation was given to Don Fritz, one of 12 Hall of Fame inductees from the first induction ceremony held in 2000.

The 2019 inductees are: John Fonash (deceased), Class of 1962 – football, basketball, track; Bill Tesno, Class of 1971 – football, track; Paige Malin Donohoe, Class of 1988 – field hockey, swimming, lacrosse; Megan Antonucci Trautz, Class of 2000 – tennis, winter track, spring track, softball; Dave Camburn, Class of 2001 – football, wrestling; Megan McMurdo, Class of 2001, field hockey, basketball, soccer; Bob Gilmore, community person; and the 1970 Bux-Mont championship baseball team.
