Harrisburg, PA - The Pennsylvania Department of Health today confirmed that as of May 11, there were 3,065 additional positive cases of COVID-19 reported since last Wednesday, bringing the statewide cumulative total cases to 2,849,663.
The Pennsylvania death registry reported a cumulative total of 44,814 deaths attributed to COVID-19.
There are 2,359,297 confirmed cases and 490,366 who have a positive viral antigen test and are considered probable cases.
The department continues to urge Pennsylvanians to follow CDC guidance for wearing a mask where required by law, rules, and regulations, including health care, local business and workplace guidance. For the protection of themselves and others, individuals who have not yet been vaccinated or are partially vaccinated, are still encouraged to wear a mask when in public.
The Department of Health continues to provide the public with extensive and frequently updated data on both the COVID-19 dashboard and the vaccine dashboard. Both dashboards provide an interactive experience for the user to review statewide and local-level data updated daily.
The department will continue to provide data via online dashboards; however, the dashboards will be updated on a weekly basis.
