Wawa opens new Chalfont store

Wawa Inc. officially opened its new store in Chalfont, located at 525 W. Butler Ave., Chalfont, on Nov. 18.
To celebrate the grand opening, Wawa hosted a ribbon-cutting ceremony, featuring first responders, local officials and charity partners.
The grand opening of this location is the fourth Wawa store to open in Bucks County in 2021 to date. Wawa’s newest store is a relocation from its original location at 545 West Butler Avenue. The new location has the added a fuel court with six stations to fuel 12 vehicles.

“At Wawa, our core purpose is to go beyond filling orders to fulfill lives, every day, and that has never been stronger than it is now” said Dave Simonetti, senior director of Store Operations for Wawa.
As part of the grand opening celebration, Wawa recognized everyday heroes in the New Britain Township Police Department and Chalfont Fire Company who competed in Wawa’s signature “Hoagies for Heroes” hoagie building competition with $1,000 donation to each department’s charity of choice.
