The Washington Crossing UMC (Crossing) Pro Life Advocates Group hosts “An Evening of Hope” for young pregnant women and their significant others, as well as their families and friends, who are facing an unexpected or difficult pregnancy, to choose life over the alternative.
The church’s goal is for this to be an informational evening that gives hope to those in crisis and highlights the work of a good number of agencies that are there to help one choose life.
“An Evening of Hope” will be held on at 6:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 27, in the Crossing Worship Center at 1895 Wrightstown Road, Washington Crossing.
The session will be filled with education, awareness, compassion, transformation and hope using presentations and testimonies by women who have been helped by local pregnancy resource centers.
In addition to the individual personal testimonies, there will be speakers from several organizations and ministries as well as information resource tables and staffing to provide help, prayer and contact information.
Presently there will be representation from the following organizations: 40 Days for Life, Choice One Pregnancy, A Baby’s Breath, Rachel’s Vineyard, Legacy of Life, Bucks County Pro-Life Coalition, Friendship Center for New Beginnings, Catholic Social Services, Blessed Margaret, Pro-Life Union of Greater Philadelphia, and Crossing Pro Life Advocates Group.
Melissa Chapman from 40 Days for Life, Lauren Zweig Kretzer from Rachel’s Vineyard, and Jennifer Musser from Choice One will discuss their organization’s mission and three young women who have been helped by Choice One will give personal testimonies.
Snacks and refreshments will be served beginning at 6:30 p.m. It is anticipated that the session will end by 9 p.m.
No pre-registration is required, and all are welcome. Visit the church online at
