Guinness World Record-setting creators of family entertainment experiences – two Warwick dads, who own Open World Events headquartered in Warminster – are unveiling the all new “Comic Con for Kids.”
In partnership with iHeart Radio, Comic Con for Kids will make its world premiere from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Oct. 12 and 13, for an estimated 20,000 children and their families at the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center.
Ideal for kids ages 6 to 14, Comic Con for Kids is a family pop culture event that brings social media celebrities, gaming, cosplay and tech together under one roof, including the region’s only official Marvel character appearances with Spider-Man, Iron Man, Black Panther and Captain America.
Comic Con for Kids is brought to you by Open World Events, which produces massive family events that reached 156,947 paid attendees across the nation in 2018 and holds seven Guinness World Records, including for largest convention for a single video game.
The Greater Philadelphia Expo Center is at 100 Station Ave., Oaks. Tickets start at $14.99 and are free for children age 2 and under. For information, or to purchase tickets, visit the Comic Con for Kids website.
