Warwick dads create live Lego fan experience

They met at a Halloween party and went on to break more than seven Guinness World Records.

Now the Bucks County dads behind the nation’s largest touring LEGO® show return home to Philadelphia with more attractions than ever as part of a six-city tour.

Brick Fest Live! LEGO® Fan Experience will offer four football fields of LEGO®, from entire villages to a life-sized Darth Vader, at the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center, 100 Station Ave., Oaks, in halls A and B, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. April 27 and 28. VIP ticket access begins at 9 a.m. on both days.

“We’re fresh off an exhibition at the New York Hall of Science, and our home town of Philadelphia is by far our largest and most enthusiastic crowd in the world,” said Brick Fest Live! founder Chad Collins.

“Brick Fest Live! is a place to come together as a family and have fun with a toy that spans generations,” said Brick Fest Live! producer Gabe Young.

It started as a Lego YouTube channel for Collins and his daughter, then he linked up with Young to make a LEGO show that debuted in Oaks a few years ago. Now it’s the nation’s No. 1 Lego event, and they’re about to launch Comic Con for Kids here at home next fall.

Day passes for this weekend’s Brick Fest Live! LEGO® Fan Experience start at $24.99 and are free for children 2 and under. VIP tickets start at $39.99. To purchase tickets, go to the BrickFestLive website.
