Warrington police identify man found dead on embankment

Warrington police have identified the man found lying face down on an embankment Wednesday afternoon in the area of Street Road just west of the Neshaminy Creek Bridge.

Upon preliminary investigation, police said, they determined that 40-year-old Clive Boothe of Philadelphia, was struck by a motor vehicle. Police said they have identified the driver and the investigation is ongoing. Police did not name the driver.

Police were alerted shortly before 3 p.m. Wednesday by a caller to 911 who said a person was lying face down on an embankment and not moving along westbound Street Road at the Neshaminy Creek Bridge between Valley Road and Paul Valley Road. Warrington Ambulance arrived with Warrington Police and pronounced the man dead.
