Posted

The Ben Wilson Senior Activity Center in Warminster recently won a tech upgrade worth $50,000 offered by Libertas Consulting, Low Voltage Nation (LVN) and The Greater BucksMont Chamber of Commerce (GBMCC) with installation set to take place on Sept. 18 and 19.
The center, located at 580 Delmont Ave., is a nonprofit organization that serves those age 55 and older. It was chosen from a group of over 30 applicants. The goal of the initiative is to help a deserving nonprofit organization better utilize technology to fulfill its mission.

Access to technology has been especially important during the pandemic, with many organizations having to pivot in order offer their services via the Internet.
The Ben Wilson Senior Activity Center will use the upgrade to improve its IT infrastructure and computer security, as well as to provide more technology programming and programming via Zoom for its community members.
