The fifth annual Run for Research 5K Run/Walk, 1-Mile Stroll and Health and Wellness Expo takes place 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 28, at Warminster Community Park.
Benefiting MS research, the event will feature hours of interactive entertainment and physical fitness for everyone of all ages. Pooches are welcome.
The day kicks off with early bird (8:30 a.m.) dynamic yoga and meditation session for all levels. It also includes a Bucks vs Montgomery County crossfit throw down and dance school demonstration, adults and youth obstacle course meet, pocket pets rescue small animals zoo, free food samples as well as food to purchase, people and pets vendor marketplace and crafter’s creations.
A dog outfit contest is being sponsored by Pet Supplies Plus. Free plush animals will be given to the first 50 children 12 and under and there will also be giveways, a live DJ and more.
All proceeds benefit MS research.
