Posted

Walmart revealed its newly remodeled Supercenter on West End Boulevard in Quakertown, Friday, Jan. 13, showcasing improvements that it said will vastly enhance the shopping experience for customers and make shopping easier.

“The improvements to the Quakertown Supercenter are aimed at making customers feel wowed and proud when they shop with us,” Walmart said via email.

“This Store of the Future remodel adds interactive technology that combines online and in-person shopping. Improvements include digital screens and QR codes to offer customers new ways to shop. The store has also been updated with displays and mannequins, and now offers exciting apparel brands to ensure customers have access to the newest trends at great price points.”

In addition, Walmart said, the store’s pharmacy area was expanded to include two health service privacy rooms for customer prescription needs and full line of immunizations. Additional improvements include an updated vision center with new lines of frames; pickup, delivery and express delivery; touch-free Walmart Pay and a subscription-based Walmart+ membership program.

“We are so proud of all the hard work our associates have put in to improve the store,” said Store Manager Lauren Degrushe.

“We have created a state-of-the-art shopping experience that will allow us to better serve our customers in Upper Bucks. We are incredibly proud of our new pharmacy, which will set the standard for pharmaceutical offerings in our community. We look forward to serving our community and showing our customers the great things we have to offer.”
