The Volunteer Center of the Lehigh Valley will host its 13th annual Volunteer Challenge celebration on Wednesday, May 11, from 5 to 7:30 p.m. at ArtsQuest Center at SteelStacks in Bethlehem.
All are invited to attend the event, which commemorates the culmination of more than 30 Lehigh Valley nonprofit projects completed by local businesses and organizations. The Volunteer Challenge is the region’s largest mobilization of corporate teams aligned with local nonprofits to complete sustainable projects that have significant impact for the nonprofits and the community they serve.
The Volunteer Center has engaged with 126 unique nonprofits, and 91 unique businesses, including eight newcomers both for nonprofits and businesses for 2022; all who completed a total of 257 unique projects over the last 13 years.
Tickets for the event are $50 per person and include hors d’oeuvres, cash bar, ticket raffles, and a wine/spirits pull. Ticket purchases also include the opportunity to network and see the completed projects firsthand. Attending or not, anyone can vote for favorite projects online.
