Voices Chorale NJ plans Summer Sing outdoors

Voices Chorale New Jersey (VCNJ) invites the community to its Summer Sing, an evening of music and conversation to be held outdoors at Music Together, at 7 p.m. Aug. 23, with a rain date and time of 7 p.m. Aug. 24.
VCNJ and guests will sing selections from Mozart’s “Requiem,” conducted by Dr. David A. McConnell, artistic director of Voices Chorale.
This event is free, although donations are welcome. VCNJ will provide scores. Bring a lawn chair. Refreshments will be served.

Music Together Worldwide is located at 225 Pennington - Hopewell Road, Hopewell, N.J.
VCNJ welcomes new singers. Tenors and basses are particularly needed. Request an audition at the Summer Sing, or contact audition coordinator Jenny Goings at jengoings8@gmail.com
In-person rehearsals for the fall season begin at 7:30 p.m. Monday, Sept. 13, at Music Together Worldwide. Rehearsals will be held weekly, from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m., in preparation for a holiday concert in the Princeton, N.J., area in mid- December. Vaccinations are required to participate.
