U.S. Senatorial candidate Mehmet Oz, Attorney General Josh Shapiro to engage in Candidate Conversations during 38th Annual Chamber Dinner

Posted

U.S. Senatorial candidate Dr. Mehmet Oz and Democratic gubernatorial candidate Attorney General Josh Shapiro will engage in separate, candid conversations live on stage at the 38th Annual Chamber Dinner at 8:05 p.m. Monday, Oct. 3 at Hershey Lodge. The 30-minute segments will take place directly following a point/counterpoint discussion featuring former Democratic National Committeewoman Donna Brazile and former Republican New Jersey Governor Chris Christie, who will focus their conversation on the role Pennsylvania plays in the nation’s current political environment and leading into the 2024 presidential elections.

“We’re honored and excited to provide an opportunity for these two candidates to answer some of the pressing questions that are on Pennsylvanians’ minds as they prepare to head to the polls on Tuesday, Nov. 8,” said PA Chamber President and CEO Luke Bernstein. “Informing the electorate is a critical aspect of a well-functioning democracy, and the Pennsylvania Chamber has long used our Dinner as a fair and open forum for candidates from both parties to present their vision for the future of the Commonwealth.”

Bernstein will host both conversations with the candidates. ABC 27 News Anchor Dennis Owens will moderate the point/counterpoint with Donna Brazile and Chris Christie.

The Pennsylvania Cable Network will have exclusive live coverage of the Brazile/Christie segment of the program.
