Town & Country Players in collaboration with the James A. Michener Art Museum present their annual holiday show.
This year the show, “A Theater Carol,” written by Caity Logan, is a modern take on Charles Dickens’ “A Christmas Carol.”
Evelyn Scrooge is a determined and successful director who has lost her way and is driving away the members of her local community theater.
But when the Holiday Show is threatened, she is visited by a series of ghosts who give her a chance to re-evaluate her actions, right the wrongs of the past, and rediscover her holiday spirit, all through the workings of theater magic.
The show is filled with traditional holiday songs and takes place in the magical all-glass Edgar N. Putman Event Pavilion.
Tickets are $15 for adults and $10 for children 12 and under, and include the show and admission to the museum. Guests are encouraged to arrive one hour before show time to tour the museum galleries.
“A Theater Carol” runs the weekend of Friday, Dec. 14 through Sunday, Dec. 16, at the Michener Museum at 138 S. Pine St., Doylestown.
Performances are Friday and Saturday nights at 8 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday afternoons at 2 p.m.
