Thursday Night Holiday Lights returns to Flemington

Thursday Night Holiday Lights returns to Flemington, N.J., from 5 to 8 p.m. Dec. 5, 12 and 19, offering shopping, dining, music and entertainment, holiday cocktails, wine tastings and more.

New this year is the free “Holly Jolly Flemington Trolley,” allowing visitors to hop-on and off at six stops linking historic Main Street, Stangl Road and Liberty Village.

Sage Boutique will offer free ornament-making for children, and Chirp WorkSHOP will host “stuff a holiday plushie.” Stella Valle Pop-Up Jewelry Boutique will offer refreshments and discounts, and 39 Mine Boutique will feature a gift with purchase.

The Mine, Flemington’s newest shop, featuring art, antiques and artisans, will offer free holiday treats and a discount to shoppers.

The Stangl Factory will host a holiday market filled with craft vendors, artisans and holiday gifts, and Factory Fuel Coffee Shop will host story time with some of the North Pole’s elves.

Lone Eagle Brewing Company will offer discounted flights and pints to those who show a receipt for any purchases made at a Flemington borough business during Thursday Night Holiday Lights (valid only on the dates of this event).

Live music and caroling will led by a local choral group accompanied by musicians on the Historic Courthouse steps each night, and Rogers Studio Holiday Dance Troupe will perform at 6 p.m. Dec. 12. The Historic Courthouse will also feature Santa’s mailbox and a holiday Wishing Tree, where visitors can tie a ribbon with their holiday wish.

The United Methodist Church will showcase a live nativity scene Dec. 5, and host a holiday performance by the Whitehouse Wind Symphony at 7:30 p.m. Dec. 12.

Children can meet costumed members of the PAW Patrol, have a picture taken with Santa Claus and enjoy story time with Mrs. Claus.

Barkley’s Gourmet Marketplace will host a holiday pet photo session at its shop, and Hunterdon County 4-H will host a petting zoo at The Flemington Filling Station.

The Flemington Fire Department will offer free rides around town on its antique fire truck, “Old Betsy.” Bring an unwrapped toy for those in need to donate to the fire department’s toy drive.
