Thompson Memorial Church opens Haven

Thompson Memorial Church announces the grand opening of Haven, a coffee and arts venue in New Hope.

Haven was born out of the desire to create a safe performing and gathering space for artists in and around New Hope, particularly those whose creative voices often get suppressed in the wider world. Haven believes that “everyone needs a safe space” now more than ever. Haven resides at 1680 Aquetong Road, New Hope.

Haven’s opening event is an Open Mic Story Slam at 7 p.m. June 9 (doors open at 6 p.m.).

Coffee and a chill vibe will precede, on a first-come, first-served basis, storytellers who will share five-minute stories of belonging. Audience choice cash prizes of $250, $150, and $50 will be awarded. Email info@havennewhope.org for details.
