Thompson announces winners of Draw the Future contest

This year, Thompson was excited to welcome back its Draw the Future competition.
Future drivers from kindergarten through sixth grade were invited to design the Toyota, Lexus or BMW of the future as part of the Back to Draw the Future contest.
From March 1 through April 5, the team at Thompson anxiously awaited the submissions of creative students and community youth, and they were overwhelmed by the number of submissions received this year. In total, the Thompson team received over 650 submissions from 33 local schools.

Three winners for each grade level were selected by Thompson’s panel of judges, and those 21 winners were invited to Thompson Toyota to celebrate their accomplishments and claim their prizes at an awards ceremony on Thursday, May 5.
Each winner also received a commemorative 2022 Draw the Future T-shirt at the ceremony.
The grand prize winner, a second grader from Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic School, drew a futuristic BMW that runs on starlight called the Space Party car.
