The Herald’s Road to the Big Game Pep Rally set for Friday in Doylestown

Posted

We know where area Birds fans will be at 3 p.m. Sunday — in front of their televisions when the Philadelphia Eagles and San Francisco 49ers kick off the 2023 NFC Championship Game in South Philadelphia.

Now we also know where they’ll be at 4 p.m. on Friday — on the old Bucks County Courthouse lawn at Court and Main streets in Doylestown for “The Herald’s Road to the Big Game Pep Rally.”

That’s right. Your Bucks County Herald newspaper is hosting a pep rally. Frankly, we all wanted to knock off work a little bit early this Friday to get our NFC Championship weekends underway. And there’s no one we’d rather do that with than you.

So come on out to the lawn, bring the kids and the midnight (or kelly) green apparel, and join in a few renditions of “Fly Eagles Fly!” with your local community newspaper.

And be ready to do it again in two weeks when the Birds are flying south to Glendale Arizona for the big game.
