Whether you're looking for fireworks and parades or more-somber ceremonies and remembrances, the Herald can help you plan for Memorial Day weekend in Bucks County. Here’s a look at what’s happening.

Saturday, May 27

• Palisades District Memorial Post 399 American Legion Home Association holds its services starting at 9 a.m. Saturday at the old St. John Baptist Church, Haycock Run cemetery and then proceeding the St. Luke Church, Union and Red Hill cemeteries before wrapping up at Veteran Memorial Field-Park in Revere.

• The Penndel-Hulmeville Parade starts at 9 a.m. Saturday on Ford Avenue and ends at Penndel Memorial Ball Field.

• The Plumstead Township Memorial Day Observance takes place at 9 a.m. Saturday at Veterans Park, 5775 Easton Road (rain date Sunday, May 28).

• The Pennridge Memorial Day Parade & Service takes place at 10 a.m. Saturday, starting at the intersection of Diamond Street and East Clymer Avenue and ending with a service at the Veterans Memorial in Lenape Park.

• Warrington Township will hold its annual Memorial Day Ceremony at 11 a.m. Saturday, rain or shine, at the Igoe Porter Wellings (IPW) Memorial Field, 3095 Bradley Road, Chalfont (Warrington Township). It will recognize local veteran Charles D. Baxter, who has been approved to be added to the Memorial Wall for 2023.

Sunday, May 28

• Carversville United Church of Christ in Solebury will hold its annual Memorial Day worship service at 10 a.m. Sunday. It will be followed by a service of remembrance at the adjacent Carversville Cemetery.

• Levittown Memorial Day Parade steps off at 1 p.m. Sunday on Hood Boulevard near Pennsbury High School and ends with a memorial service near American Legion Post #834 in Fallsington.

• Washington Crossing Historic Park (Pa.) will hold its annual Memorial Day observance 1 p.m. Sunday, at the gravesite of Continental soldiers. The observation at 1638 River Road, New Hope, will include a colonial color guard, a fife and drum corps and Revolutionary reenactors.

• The Sesame Place Fireworks Show will take place at about 9 p.m. Sunday at the Middletown Township theme park located at 100 Sesame Road, Langhorne PA 19047.

Monday, May 29

• The Ivyland Borough Memorial Day Parade starts at 8 a.m. Monday on Twining Avenue and ends at ends at Veterans Park

• The Lambertville Memorial Day Parade steps off at 9 a.m. Monday at the corner of North Union and Cherry streets and will end at a commemorative ceremony at Mary Sheridan Park, with a community picnic to follow.

• The Langhorne Memorial Day Parade starts at 9 a.m. Monday at 115 W. Richardson Ave., Langhorne, PA 19047.

• The Morrisville Memorial Day Parade steps off at 9 a.m. Monday at Morrisville Presbyterian Church at 771 N. Pennsylvania Ave., Morrisville PA 19067

• The Northampton Township Memorial Day Ceremony starts at 9 a.m. Monday at Robert H. Dembrowski Jr. Veterans Memorial Park in Richboro.

• The Upper Southampton Township Memorial Day Ceremony takes place at 9:30 a.m. Monday at Veterans Memorial Field at 400 Street Road.

• The Doylestown Memorial Day Parade, the oldest in the country, according to the borough, kicks off once again, at 10 a.m. Monday, at the intersection of Lafayette and Court streets. The event includes a flag-raising at War Memorial Field and a wreath-laying ceremony at Doylestown Cemetery.

• The Newtown Historic Association will host a “Memorial Day Tribute to Honor Local Military Veterans” from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday, at the NHA Callahan Research Center, 100 Mercer St., Newtown. It will display more than 100 photos of local soldiers who fought in World War II, plus about 300 WWII military should patches representing all branches and various battles.

• The Bensalem Township Annual Memorial Day Parade steps off at 10 a.m. Monday at Holy Ghost Prep and runs south on Route 13 to Pulaski Park on Mill Road near the Philadelphia border.

• The Warminster Township Memorial Day Ceremony and Parade starts at 10 a.m. Monday in front of the Warminster Township Building, 401 Gibson Ave. and ends with a celebration at the VFW on Louis Drive.

• A Memorial Day Food Truck & Live Music event will be held from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday at Bishop Estate Vineyard and Winery in Hilltown. The winery is located at 2730 Hilltown Pike, Perkasie PA 18944.

• The Yardley Memorial Day Parade steps off at 11 a.m. Monday at the intersection of State Road and Bellevue Avenue.

• The Bethlehem Detachment 284 Marine Corps League hosts Memorial Day Ceremonies for those Killed in Action (Vietnam War) at noon Monday, at 10 E. Church St., Bethlehem.

• The 31st Annual Lake Lenape Car Show runs from noon to 3 p.m. at Lake Lenape Pavilion at 555 Constitution Ave., Perkasie PA 18944.
