Posted

On Friday, Sept. 9, experience the sounds of some of today’s best live jazz at Historic Stangl Road in Flemington’s Artisans District, where the 2022 Central Jersey Jazz Festival will kick off with lively performances from 6:30-10 p.m.

The Central Jersey Jazz Festival, a popular three-day annual event, makes its first stop in Flemington, N.J., on Stangl Road, with performances from jazz band Blues People and jazz singer Marion Cowings, featuring tap dancer AC Lincoln.

Marion Cowings featuring AC Lincoln will take the stage from 6:30-8 p.m., followed by Blues People from 8:30-10 p.m. Seating on Stangl Road will start at 5 p.m. CD sales and signing of CD’s by the musicians featured at Flemington’s Central Jersey Jazz Festival will follow each musician’s performance.

“We are thrilled to be the first stop of this amazing three-day festival that showcases the business areas of three county seats in Hunterdon, Middlesex and Somerset,” said Robin Lapidus, Flemington Community Partnership (FCP) executive director. “We look forward to dancing in the streets again with festival-goers and providing a magical outdoor stage under a canopy of stars on Historic Stangl Road.”
