The Community Spelling Bee, a fundraiser for The Free Library of New Hope & Solebury, returns for a second year of spellbinding competition at 7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 4, at the New Hope-Solebury High School Auditorium.
Make a beeline to form your team and register by Sept. 1 (or until all slots are filled). Each team is comprised of three spellers, age 16 and older, who work together to spell the word. Teams write the word on a whiteboard and hold it up for the judges—no one spells alone.
Plus, each team gets a “free-bee” to stay in the competition.
Those who don’t have any fellow spellers in their hive can email
nhspubliclibrary@gmail.com for help getting matched with a team.
Team registration forms and information are available at
nhslibrary.org. Team registration supports the operations of the Free Library of New Hope and Solebury. Questions? Contact
