The 2021 Thompson Performing Arts Series will kick off at 7 p.m. Wednesday, June 9, featuring the CB West Jazz Ensembles under the direction of Neil Delson. The concert is at the C&N Amphitheater in Doylestown’s Central Park.
“It’s been such a challenging year, but we feel so fortunate to have the opportunity to play several outdoor performances this spring. Our favorite performances are always those in our own community, so we are especially excited to be a part of the (Thompson) Performing Arts Series and play at the C&N Amphitheater in Central Park. Our students have worked hard all year and are excited to share some great music with everyone,” says Neil Delson, Band Director, Central Bucks High School – West.
“We are very excited that our opening performance will feature Director Delson’s state renown CB West Jazz Band who will be kicking off this year’s lineup of 13 crowd-pleasing performances! Some perennial favorites will be returning, along with several brand-new performers that are sure to impress!”, says Barbara Lyons, Chairman of the Doylestown Township Board of Supervisors.
Concerts will continue on Wednesday evenings through Sept. 1.
