Messa di Voce, Strayer Middle School’s a cappella choir, achieved the Middle/Junior High School Overall Award for the 19th consecutive year during last month’s Music in the Park Festival at Fleetwood Middle School in Berks County.
The Overall trophy goes to the choir that has achieved the highest score of the day. The choir competed in three different styles, Mixed Choir, Renaissance Choir and Vocal Jazz Choir, receiving a superior rating (90th percentile) in all three categories. The founder and choral director of Messa di Voce is Cynthia Teprovich.
