Stover Mill Gallery hosts seventh juried exhibition

Posted

The Stover Mill Gallery’s seventh juried exhibition runs four weekends – from 1 to 5 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays – Oct. 13 through Nov. 4.

This year, 64 regional artists have been included. The jurors were Lisa Tremper Hanover and Bill Brokaw.

Hanover is the retired director and CEO of the James A. Michener Art Museum. She has 30 years of experience in senior museum leadership and currently serves the cultural field as a consultant.

Brokaw, of Brokaw Photography & Video, is a commercial and portrait photographer based in Frenchtown, N.J.

Since 1959 the Stover Mill Gallery, 852 River Road, Erwinna, has severed as a showcase for the outstanding artists active in the robust Delaware Valley art scene. The gallery offers the public an opportunity to see original works of art in a building of historical and architectural interest with a dramatic view of the Delaware River.

The exhibition is sponsored by the nonprofit Tinicum Civic Association.

River Road is closed at the Golden Pheasant bridge; follow detours and allow extra time traveling to the gallery.
