St. Paul’s UCC dedicates Sellersville’s newest Little Library

Posted

St. Paul’s United Church of Christ (UCC), located at 104 Green St., Sellersville, officially opened its Little Garden Library with a ribbon cutting and dedication service on Sunday, Aug. 21.

The “take a book, share a book” community library box is part of the national and international Little Free Library network.

“At St. Paul’s we strive to live out our call to serve the community. Literacy is a basic skill that not only increases the joy of learning and broadens knowledge for our children, but is fundamental in our ability to perform everyday tasks as we grow and mature,” said the Rev. Trudy Irving. “The book sharing box has a basic concept: take a book – leave a book. We hope you will stop by soon and visit.”

Located in front of the church building, the Little Garden Library is accessible by anyone of any age, at any time. The rotating stock of shared books includes everything from adult fiction and nonfiction, to children’s books and academic reading.
