St. Mary makes “Best Hospitals” list

St. Mary Medical Center, part of Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic, was ranked the 24th “Best Hospital” in Pennsylvania by U.S. News & World Report in its 2021-22 rankings. Of the 236 hospitals in Pennsylvania evaluated by U.S. News, St. Mary was among the 28 state hospitals recognized.
The annual “Best Hospitals” rankings and ratings are designed to assist patients and their doctors in making informed decisions about where to receive care for challenging health conditions or elective procedures.
In the rankings, St. Mary was listed as high performing in six specialties: heart failure, heart attack, diabetes, kidney failure, knee replacement and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD).

Additionally, St. Mary was ranked no. 17 on the list of “Best Hospitals” in the Philadelphia metropolitan area.
For the 2021-22 rankings and ratings, U.S. News evaluated more than 4,750 medical centers nationwide in 15 specialties and 17 procedures and conditions.
