St. Martin of Tours New Hope hosts parish mission for all

Posted

Bill Wegner, an award-winning speaker from Good News International, will offer a parish mission at St. Martin of Tours Church in New Hope from Sunday, Nov. 4 through Wednesday, Nov. 7.

There is no charge, and no reservations are required. Sessions will be held twice daily at 9 a.m. Monday through Wednesday and 7:30 p.m. Sunday through Wednesday.

A mission is a series of presentations over several days intended to inspire people in their faith. This mission is geared toward Catholics and non-Catholics alike.

Wegner is a Catholic lay evangelist. After a successful business career, he felt called to “give it all up” to preach. “As a father and grandfather, he understands what it means to live a Christian life in a secular world.”

Wegner has won the Father Jim Ferry Award for evangelization from the Sacred Heart Institute. He is the founder and president of Good News International, a Catholic lay ministry, which was nominated in 2001 for the Pope Pius VI Evangelization Award by the National Catholic Conference for Evangelization

He is the author of “Dare to Be Holy,” published by GNI Publishing.
