The Bucks County Herald was recognized in the Pennsylvania News Media Association Foundation’s 2019 Keystone Press Awards competition.
Writer Don Leypoldt won first place in the Sports Story category for his August 2018 article on the Big League journeys of former Quakertown Blazers teammates Tim Mayza and Lou Trivino.
Herald staff also received honorable mention in the Diversity category for featuring an adaptable dock at Lake Nockamixon, an American citizen swearing-in ceremony and World AIDS Day.
