Celebrate the 15th anniversary of the SPLASH Steamboat Floating Classroom and explore the grounds of Sand Castle Winery in Erwinna, from 5 to 8 p.m. Saturday June 1.
Tickets are available at SplashSteamboat.org and at the door. The event supports Splash educational initiatives and program expenses.
The event includes an open bar (wine, beer and two specialty cocktails), appetizers and buffet stations by Farmers Keep, and live music by Alex Otey. A silent auction features prizes from more than 50 local businesses.
SPLASH (Student Participation in Learning Aquatic Science and History) was founded by Dr. Bart Hoebel, a leading neuroscientist and professor at Princeton University.
Splash provides unique educational adventures aboard an operational steamboat, while inspiring children and adults to learn aquatic science, local history and engineering.
