Spend an evening with Livingston Taylor and CB Select choirs

Posted

Spend an evening with Livingston Taylor at Delaware Valley University in Doylestown, from 7 to 10 p.m. April 9.
The concert will open with a performance by high school seniors from the three most elite choirs in the Central Bucks School District, featuring students of CB South, East, and West.
Following the Central Bucks Senior Select Choir, the audience will spend an evening with Taylor.
Taylor has appeared in Doylestown frequently, due to popular demand, during a fruitful, half-century career that encompasses performance, songwriting, and teaching – and which was the subject of an award-winning documentary film, “Livingston Taylor: Life is Good,” released in 2018.

His career includes top-40 hits “I Will Be in Love with You,” “I’ll Come Running,” “I Can Dream of You” and “Boatman,” the last two recorded by his brother James.
His musical knowledge has inspired a varied repertoire, and he is equally at home with a range of musical genres – folk, pop, gospel, jazz – from upbeat storytelling and touching ballads to orchestra performances.
A full professor at Berklee College of Music, Taylor also teaches young artists lessons learned over the course of an extensive career on the road. He is the author of “Stage Performance,” released in 2011.
Something/Anything Productions is giving locals the opportunity to attend a “Master Class” by Livingston Taylor preceding the main event, free of charge, from 3 to 4:30 p.m. April 9.
