Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church in Doylestown held a Solemn Mass of Installation on Saturday, Sept. 11, for the Rev. Matthew W. Guckin.
The Most Reverend Michael J. Fitzgerald, auxiliary bishop of Philadelphia, was the principal celebrant and homilist.
Guckin’s family, friends, brother priests and parishioners celebrated this important moment in the life of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish, and attendees enjoyed refreshments on the parish grounds immediately following the Mass.
Guckin expressed his gratitude to all who made the Mass a sacred and beautiful celebration, and he requested continued prayers for parish clergy, staff and the OLMC community as they all seek to do the Lord’s will together.
