The seventh annual Robert Nagg Memorial Game and Fundraiser held last month generated nearly $10,000 for New Hope-Solebury High School stadium improvements.
The highlight of the community event included soccer games between the current New Hope girls and boys teams against recent alumni. Raffles, T-shirt sales, gift baskets and concessions added to the event’s success.
“Thank you to students, families, community members and local businesses for their support,” wrote Nan Nagg, RAN Memorial Game and Fundraiser Committee member. “This annual memorial game honors the memory of student-athlete Robert Nagg who passed away in 2013 at the age of 17 after a courageous two-year battle with a rare brain tumor. His bright smile in the face of adversity will ever inspire the New Hope-Solebury community.”
