Singer-songwriter-guitarist performs in Carversville

Well-know 60s and 70s singer-songwriter and guitarist Steve Katz (Blues Project, Blood Sweat & Tears, American Flyer) comes to Carversville Christian Church at 3 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 30, with a wide-ranging solo program of stories and songs spanning his multi-decade career.

Attendees will have an opportunity to meet and greet Katz in an informal and intimate environment, and to enjoy an afternoon of memorable music. Copies of Katz’s book, “Blood, Sweat & Tears, My Rock n’ Roll Years,” will be available for purchase and autograph, along with recent CDs.

“This concert takes on a very personal feel for me,” said concert promoter Rick Rosen. “Steve Katz is responsible for one of my favorite guitar parts of all time; I’m absolutely thrilled to work with Steve and to be able to welcome him to our area for what will be a unique and very, very cool event.”

Carversville Christian Church is located at 3736 Aquetong Road in Carversville. Tickets for “Steve Katz - An Afternoon of Story and Song” are $15. Children under 12 are admitted for free.

Tickets can be purchased at the door or reserved by contacting Mr. Rick Presents at 650-219-2748 or on the Mr. Rick Presents Facebook page.
