Singer Corinne Mammana brings Jazzy Disney concert to Sellersville

Posted

Lehigh Valley based jazz singer, songwriter, arranger, recording artist and bandleader Corinne Mammana and her band will perform “A Jazzy Disney Songbook Concert” at 8 p.m. Friday, April 1, at the Sellersville Theater.
The concert will celebrate the Disney songbook via Mammana’s jazzy arrangements of classic and modern Disney songs from the 1930s to present day. This marks Mammana’s debut at this historic venue in Sellersville.
Mammana is passionate about preserving the music of the past while placing her own personal spin on the American Songbook, as well as popular tunes from the past few decades.
The band will feature bass player Gene Perla (worked with Nina Simone, Sarah Vaughan, Frank Sinatra, to name a few), Patrick Kerssen on piano, and Vernon J. Mobley on drums.

Audience members can expect to hear reimagined Disney favorites, everything from “Cinderella” to “101 Dalmatians,” to “Frozen.”
Mammana has released two albums — “Under an August Moon” (2016 EP) and “Yes, No, Next” (2020), which both received international praise.
Originally from Plymouth Meeting, she holds a Bachelor of Music degree from James Madison University, where she was classically trained in voice.
Call 215-257-5808 or visit the theater online for tickets and information.
