Simply superb service from local optometrist

Posted

Klutzy I am; I lose or forget things, but worst is dropping or sitting on my eyeglasses since they are imperative for me. I was a frequent customer for local Optometrists in Chestnut Hill, my former home.

Not long after moving to Kintnersville; yes, I again needed the services of a optometrist and had noticed such just across the street from the Plumsteadville Inn.

Embarrassed, I fessed up to sitting on my glasses and handed them to the friendly gentleman in the store who told me to “have a seat, this won’t take long.” Fifteen minutes later he came back; he had straightened the frames, returned the lenses to their proper location and handed them back with a pleasant smile. I offered my credit card but he said “no charge”!

That was 25 years ago and, sad to say, I have been back to this store seven more times for the same dumb reason and, amazingly, got the same comment, “no charge.”

How wonderful! How rare! Nice.
