Girl Scout Troop 21733 led by Jennifer Riggione, Monica Steuer and Filomena Iorio-Tasoluk participated in a self-defense seminar at New Hope Karate with Master Chris Di Toro on March 29. “At the self-defense class, I really liked that Master DiToro gave many examples during his teaching,” said Zoe Kelter. “He also told us about how in order to do self-defense, you need to be mentally and physically prepared. When he was showing us some basic defenses, he explained it very clearly and let us put our input in.”
