Sculpture 2022 awards announced at New Hope Arts opening reception

New Hope Arts’ Juried Sculpture Exhibition opened June 18 with the first reception in more than two years

The showcase of regional talent features a range of wall-art and free-standing work in a wide variety of media representing over 60 artists. The exhibition is open Friday, Saturday and Sunday from noon to 5 p.m. through July 17, and by appointment, at 2 Stockton Ave., New Hope.

Juror Dana Stewart is a longtime contributor to the exhibition and is a participating artist in the New Hope Arts Outdoor Sculpture Project since its beginning in 2003. Stewart owns and operates Stewart Sculpture Casting in Lambertville. He originally came to this area to study ceramic shell casting at the Johnson Atelier Technical Institute, precursor to Grounds for Sculpture.
