SBA opens Business Recovery Center

The U.S. Small Business Administration has opened a Business Recovery Center at the Falls of the Schuylkill Library, 3501 Midvale Ave., Philadelphia to assist Pennsylvania businesses with one-on-one assistance in submitting a disaster loan application if they were impacted by the remnants of Hurricane Ida on Aug. 31 - Sept. 5.

Physical disaster loans are available to businesses of all sizes, nonprofit organizations, homeowners and renters in counties including Bucks, Montgomery and Philadelphia. Economic Injury Disaster Loans are available to small businesses and most nonprofit organizations in those and other counties including Lehigh and Northampton, and Camden, Hunterdon and Mercer in New Jersey.

Customer Service Representatives will be available to answer questions and assist business owners in completing their applications. All visitors are encouraged to wear a face mask.  Office hours are noon to 8 p.m. Monday and Wednesday; 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday. The office is closed on weekends. Additional Business Recovery Centers in the region are expected to open soon.
