The 72nd Tinicum Arts Festival is happening July 8 and 9.
Tinicum Arts Festival traditions continue for this yea’’s festival. The festival will present the works of regional artists in the centerpiece Art Barn, the creations of artists and craft artisans will be displayed under the trees, and visitor will have the chance to discover treasures at the White Elephant Tent, and choose from literally thousands of books at the Book Wagon.
Attendees can also listen to live musical entertainment while savoring a fresh-squeezed lemonade, a sandwich or a home-baked dessert in the picnic grove, as well as special activities for children and fun for everyone.
The Tinicum Arts Festival is the primary fundraiser for the nonprofit Tinicum Civic Association. The festival is planned and run entirely by volunteers. Proceeds are used to maintain the Stover Mill in Erwinna and to benefit over 30 other nonprofit organizations that serve Tinicum Township.
