Salvation Army Levittown distributes school supplies to families

Posted

The Salvation Army Levittown recently distributed school supplies and clothing to 150 Bucks County families in need.
The supplies at the distribution included backpacks, notebooks, binders, writing utensils, coats, everyday clothing and other items. This year, parents and children who registered in advance were invited to come and walk around to look for supplies on their children’s school lists as they prepare to head back to classes this fall.
“The Salvation Army Levittown is dedicated to supporting the youth in Bucks County and enabling them to become creative and productive members of society,” said Capt. Jessie Kelly. “Our back-to-school event ensures that these children will start their school year with supplies needed to be successful.”
