Eleanor Roosevelt Elementary School of Morrisville brought nearly 100 runners to win the annual Sesame Classic “Spirit Trophy.”

The 23rd annual Kiwanis-Herald Sesame Place Classic took place May 21 in Langhorne.

Sponsored by the Levittown Bristol Kiwanis Club and the Bucks County Herald, the Classic featured a 5K, a 1-mile fun run/walk, and a kids’ sprint races event.

Proceeds help raise money for the Dick Dougherty Scholarship Fund, which assists college-bound scholar-athletes from 18 Bucks County high schools.
