Robert (Bobby) William McClung of Lambertville, N.J., formerly of Abington, Pa., died at his home on Saturday, July 25, 2022, after a long courageous battle with cancer. He was 52 years old.

Born in Lansdale, and mostly raised in Colmar, Pa., Robert worked in the mortgage industry as the creative director for Developers Mortgage Company in Huntington Valley, Pa. The majority of Robert’s career was in creative marketing, which provided a perfect outlet for his numerous artistic talents. Robert graduated from North Penn Senior High School in Lansdale, Pa., and The School of Visual Arts in Philadelphia, Pa. Robert thoroughly enjoyed the challenge of rehabbing and renovating properties. He could look beyond neglected and mismatched areas of a house and transform it into a beautiful, peaceful, and gracious home. Robert was an avid gardener, an excellent cook and a lover of all animals. He, along with his husband, enjoyed opening their historic home to entertain and create special memories that were full of laughter with family and friends.

Robert is survived by his loving husband of 28 years, Michael White of Lambertville, N.J.; his younger brother Darryl McClung Jr. of Philadelphia; his sister-in-law Terry Rapp of Cresco, Pa.; his nephew Timothy Rapp of Los Angeles, Calif.; his niece Melissa Rapp and her husband Alex Helling of Wheat Ridge, Colo.; his nephew Thomas McClung of Hazelton, Pa.; his great-nephew Ethan Helling of Wheat Ridge, Colo.; his uncle and aunt Sam and MaryAnn Jackinski of Denver, Colo.; his cousin Jacqui Knorr of Feasterville, Pa.; his former sisters-in-law Lori Rapp and Jamie McClung and many, many cherished friends. Preceded in death was Bobby’s mother Dolores (Jackinski) McClung and his older brothers John “Jack” Rapp Jr. and Joseph Rapp.

A Celebration of Life gathering will be announced for a later date.
