River of Life breaks ground for school expansion

Posted

River of Life Church in Buckingham hosted a ground-breaking ceremony May 1, for its education facility expansion.
Founded Nov. 5, 2006, River of Life Church held its first service at the Regal 14 Barn Cinema on Route 611 in Doylestown with 45 people and the congregation has since grown to more than 350 people with four full-time pastors on staff.

The founding and current pastor is the Rev. Dr. G. Craig Lauterbach, along with his wife Cynthia D. Lauterbach.

In 2008 the church purchased the property at 3434 Durham Road in Buckingham Township. After completing several months of renovations, the first service was held in the church’s new facility on Christmas Eve 2008.

On May 1, the church broke ground for a new children’s education center addition. The new facility will increase classroom space and provide for a Christian Day Care program. For information about River of Life Church, visit ROLCdoylestown.org or call 215-794-9393.
