Retired veterans honored at The Manor at Yorktown

Posted

On Veterans Day, friends, family and staff of The Manor at York Town in Jamison came together to give thanks and show their support for 21 residents who served in the armed forces.
Each veteran’s service was recognized with a slideshow presentation of old photos featuring residents in uniform during the time they served.
U.S. Rep. Brian Fitzpatrick and state Rep. Meghan Schroeder were in attendance to honor each veteran’s service with a certificate. The event concluded with an official salute from U.S. Army Sgt. Allen Acosta, followed by a ceremony with wine and hors d’oeuvres.

Also in attendance was Phil Innamorato, field representative from Sen. Pat Toomey’s office.
